Inserting Activity Screenshots on Windows

With Poll Everywhere for Windows, you can insert screenshots of activities directly into your PowerPoint presentations. This feature is especially useful for:

  • Including audience responses from previous sessions
  • Sharing your deck (with audience responses) with others

Whether it's simple activities like Multiple choice and Word cloud to Surveys or even Competitions, a few clicks will get you up and running.

Inserting screenshots

The following steps will walk you through how to insert an activity screenshot into your presentation.

Step 1: Open a new or existing slide PowerPoint presentation.

Step 2: Click the Poll Everywhere tab in the toolbar.

Step 3: If not logged in, click the login button. (If you are already logged in, skip to Step 5).

Step 4: Enter your Poll Everywhere credentials. (Need an account? Click the sign-up option in the login window).

Step 5: From the Poll Everywhere toolbar, choose Screenshot.

Step 6: Click on the Activities icon, browse your activities select the ones you want to insert by checking the boxes and then Click the Insert slides button.

Each activity screenshot will appear on its own slide in the presentation.

Screenshot slides appear a bit different than activity slides. Unlike activity slides, screenshot slides do not include: Blue corner markers and the links in the notes section (only the activity title is included)

More useful tips

  • Stay Logged In: Ensure you're logged into the Poll Everywhere app as the activity owner.
  • Competitions Screenshots: When inserting screenshots for competitions, the app will insert a screenshot of the final leaderboard and the response slide for each competition question.

  • Surveys: If responses exist, the screenshot will display participants’ progress through the survey at the time the screenshot was taken. Without responses (If there are no responses to the Survey), it will show the survey title and instructions to respond.
